Consent agenda
The Regents approved K-State's request to raze a haybarn at the Agricultural Research Center in Hays. The barn suffered extensive damage during the windstorm on Dec. 15, 2021.
Discussion agenda
In response to the significant disruptions that have occurred based on the COVID-19 pandemic, the Regents approved an exception to the tenure clock extension policy.
The Regents received the proposal for the Facilities Capital Renewal Initiative.
The Regents received updates on the state’s investments in research programs at the university. Bonnie Rush, dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, presented on the Veterinary Health Center and David Rosowsky, vice president for research, presented on global food systems.
Rosowsky also presented K-State's economic prosperity plan.
