Kansas Board of Regents March meeting agenda items

The Kansas Board of Regents will meet March 16 and 17 at the Curtis State Office Building in Topeka. A livestream will be available for individuals to listen remotely.
The Regents will consider the following agenda items related to Kansas State University at the meeting.
Consent agenda
K-State will share information with the Regents on a commodities storage shed located at the Beef Cattle Research Center that was razed for safety reasons. High winds on Dec. 15, 2021, caused extensive damage to the building and created safety concerns leading to the demolition of the building.
Discussion agenda
K-State requests approval to amend the fiscal year 2023 capital improvement project plan and accept the revised program statement for Tracz Family Band Hall. Due to current market conditions, the project budget has increased from $4,500,000 to $4,915,500.
K-State requests approval to award an honorary degree at a spring 2022 commencement ceremony.
