Grad study rooms in Hale Library now have ID card access

Submitted by Cailin Riley

The card entry system for the two graduate study spaces on the third floor of Hale Library, rooms 334 and 336, is now functioning.

Graduate student IDs have been loaded into the system to allow ID card access to those rooms. The new system requires the cards to pass close to the RFID reader. The red light will turn green and the door will unlock.

Graduate students with cards that show an expiration date at the bottom right will be able to use the new system. Graduate students who have older ID cards will need to obtain a new card through the ID center or ask staff at the Help Desk on the second floor to be let into the spaces. There is a fee to obtain a replacement ID.
