Virtual Undergraduate Research Symposium available April 20-22

Submitted by Morgan Greene

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry, or OURCI, invites the K-State community to the Spring 2022 Undergraduate Research Showcase. This event is designed to highlight and celebrate undergraduate research happening in and out of classes in departments across campus. This semester, the showcase is available virtually and in person.

The virtual component is available April 20-22 on the SymposiumOne platform. Attendees can view abstracts, posters and videos from student presenters.

The in-person poster session will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom. This is a come-and-go event. Short opening remarks will occur at 5:30 p.m.

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry supports and celebrates undergraduate student researchers through a variety of programs, opportunities and public forums to engage the K-State community. Undergraduate students from all disciplines can engage with the office. Opportunities include the Undergraduate Research Showcase, research awards, conference/travel awards, the Developing Scholars Program and more. Visit the OURCI website to learn more about all upcoming events and opportunities.

Questions can be directed to ourci@k-state.edu.
