Jennifer Bormann named assistant dean of K-State College of Agriculture
Jennifer Bormann began her new role as assistant dean for the College of Agriculture on Aug. 8.
Bormann has served in several faculty roles in the animal sciences and industry department for the past 18 years and says she looks forward to the challenges her new role brings. Her main responsibilities will be managing the team responsible for academic student services and leading faculty and staff development in teaching and advising.
Bormann says her top priority as assistant dean will be to make herself available to help students and faculty navigate university policies and procedures.
Bormann earned her bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Iowa State University and her master's degree from Oklahoma State University. Bormann, her husband, Dale, and their two children, Kate and Luke, live south of Manhattan with their horses, cattle and dogs.
