Academic coaching workshops available in the Resource Link at Hale Library
This semester, the Academic Achievement Center is partnering with the Resource Link at Hale Library to offer several academic coaching workshops. Students do not need to sign up before attending these free workshops.
The workshops are as follows:
- Study Skills Workshop: Sept. 19, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
In this workshop, we will explore different study techniques, practice building a study plan and strategize on what to do when you get stuck.
- GPA Pit Stop: Oct. 18, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Get a tuneup before finishing the semester. We'll check in on your GPA and build personalized plans to help you improve your coursework and finish the semester strong.
- Finals Prep: Dec. 5, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Are you ready for finals? In this workshop, we'll focus on developing an individualized plan to manage and maximize your study time. Students will walk away with a prioritized list of their classes, an audit of study materials and a step-by-step plan to prepare for finals. Located on the first floor of Hale Library, the Resource Link provides a central location where campus resources and partners can meet with students to provide services, support and information.
