Free student leadership and networking opportunity today

All students are invited to attend the first Student Leader Network meeting of the semester at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, via Zoom or in person in the Center for Student Involvement Conference Room, 114 K-State Student Union.
The Student Leader Network is a monthly event series hosted by the Center for Student Involvement to promote student leadership development, provide networking opportunities for K-State students to connect with others and support access to student involvement resources.
Vern Henricks, president and CEO of the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation, is today's guest speaker. Henricks has spent his entire career as a development professional and consultant. He has served a number of roles during his career, including vice president of institutional advancement for Manhattan Christian College, senior vice president for Hartsook and Associates consulting firm, vice president of major gift programs for the KSU Foundation, executive director of development for the College of Engineering at Iowa State University, director of development for the School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburg, associate athletic director at Humboldt State University and assistant athletic director and head baseball coach at Fort Hays State University. Henricks earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science at Kansas State University.
