Gfeller joins university's Advanced Manufacturing Institute, industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department

Josh Gfeller, Manhattan, has joined the Kansas State University's Advanced Manufacturing Institute and industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department as network administrator. In this role Gfeller is responsible for maintaining and managing all information technology activities and functions for both enterprises.
Gfeller has five years of cross-platform experience in systems administration, including analyzing, maintaining and repairing networks, hardware, software and peripherals. Prior to his new position he was the system administrator at the Kansas State University Foundation. Gfeller received his Associate of Applied Science in information and network technology from the Manhattan Area Technical College.
The Advanced Manufacturing Institute provides business and engineering solutions for challenging industry problems for companies across the state, and supports Kansas State University faculty in the development of technology based products and processes that have commercialization potential.
The industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. The program prepares engineering students to design, analyze and improve production systems. The department currently has more than 200 undergraduate students, as well as strong graduate programs. In addition to teaching, department faculty are actively engaged in research and recognized internationally for their work.
