McGee, Starling, Vu and Fogel serving in leadership positions for Kansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators
Associate director Tanya McGee and assistant directors Katie Starling, Larry Vu and Andy Fogel, all from the office of student financial assistance, recently earned leadership positions with the Kansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, or KASFAA.
McGee will serve as the chair of the finance committee and will help the association treasurer maintain appropriate and adequate financial records.
Starling will serve as a site coordinator for College Goal Sunday, an annual national initiative to increase higher education access for underserved student populations.
Vu will serve as co-chair of the electronic resources committee and will manage the electronic communications for the association, research new electronic initiatives and supply electronic equipment for conferences.
Fogel will serve as the co-chair for the training committee and will provide training opportunities to the association's new membership, Kansas high school counselors and other partners in student financial aid.
They will serve in these positions until April 2014.
