Student Success welcomes program coordinator
Submitted by Office of Student Success
Stephanie Wacker has joined the Office of Student Success as a program coordinator.
As program coordinator, Wacker reports to the executive director of the K-State Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, or KAWSE, and supports events for the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry, or OURCI, and the broader Student Success unit. Responsibilities include conducting pre-college outreach events for KAWSE's GROW and EXCITE programs and undergraduate/graduate student recruitment and retention programs for SUCCEED.
Wacker holds a Master of Business Administration from Kansas State University and has worked for K-State for the past five years. Before joining Student Success, she worked as a degree analyst for the K-State Graduate School. She also has event planning experience, and supporting students is one of her passions.
"We are excited about the fit between Stephanie's skills and the outreach events that support recruitment and retention initiatives on behalf of K-State," said Chardie Baird, KAWSE executive director.
Please join Student Success in welcoming Wacker to her new role at K-State.
