Pollution Prevention Institute intern program now accepting applications
The Kansas State University Pollution Prevention Institute is seeking applications for 2023 summer internships from students majoring in engineering, environmental science or other relevant physical sciences. Applicants must be junior level or higher.
Interns will be paired with Kansas companies, communities or institutions to research and develop projects that will prevent pollution by reducing the usage of energy, water and toxic chemicals while producing recommendations to help the environment, save money and improve workplaces.
The online application for the internship program is available at sbeap.org/p2/intern-program. The deadline for submittal is 5 p.m. on Jan. 31.
Interviews will be held in February. For questions or further information, contact Cris Brazil at cristianekbrazil@k-state.edu or 800-578-8898.
