Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX office moves to Kedzie Hall
The Office of Institutional Equity, or OIE, and Title IX have relocated from Edwards Hall to Kedzie Hall. The office is now in a more centralized and accessible location on the second floor in 220A Kedzie Hall. Accessible entrances are on the basement and first-floor levels.
The new location provides greater access to students, faculty and staff. Metered spaces are offered on the east side of the building by Fairchild Hall, and hourly parking is available in the K-State Student Union garage for those individuals without parking permits. Visit the office in person for reporting or questions. Online and phone options remain for those who wish or need to engage with the office and staff remotely.
The Office of Institutional Equity is engaged in training, outreach and conducting investigations in accordance with PPM 3010, laws, regulations, executive orders and other applicable policies that uphold equal opportunity and civil rights laws. OIE is responsible for the oversight and compliance of federal laws that include Titles VI, VII and IX along with retaliation.
The Office of Institutional Equity has a dual reporting relationship to the president for purposes of compliance and investigations and to the vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging for day-to-day operations.
