Hinman to perform at International Trombone Festival

Dan Hinman, instructor of trombone, has been invited to perform at the International Trombone Festival July 12-15 in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Hinman will perform Quinn Mason's Sonata "No Horns Barred" as a member of the festival's Performing Artist Series. Hinman has also been invited to perform as a member of the prestigious Cramer Choir, which features collegiate trombone instructors from around the world.

Hinman teaches applied trombone, the K-State Trombone Choir and other academic music courses. He is currently a member of the Chamber Orchestra of the Smoky Valley and Thundering Cats Big Band. In high demand as a performer, he has also performed with the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony, BisMan Little Big Band, Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, Opera Fayetteville Orchestra, Lone Star Wind Orchestra and Basically Basie Big Band.
