Apply by Jan. 31: Deadline approaching for Pollution Prevention Institute intern program
The Kansas State University Pollution Prevention Institute, or PPI, is seeking internship applications from students majoring in engineering, environmental science or other relevant physical sciences for 2023 summer internships. Applicants must be junior level or higher.
PPI interns will be paired with Kansas companies, communities or institutions to research and develop projects that will prevent pollution by reducing usage of energy, water and toxic chemicals while producing recommendations to help the environment, save money and improve workplaces. Some projects will focus on food waste and recycling.
The online application for the internship program is available at sbeap.org/p2/intern-program. The deadline for submittal is Jan. 31 at the close of business.
Interviews will be held in February. For questions or further information, contact Cris Brazil at cristianekbrazil@k-state.edu or 800-578-8898.
