Effectively Utilizing K-State Policies and University Handbook offered virtually on Feb. 27 and March 1

Submitted by Human Capital Services - Learning and Development

Effectively Utilizing K-State Policies and University Handbook will be offered from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, and 8:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, via Zoom. Attendance at both sessions will be required to receive credit for the topic.

The topic provides an interactive opportunity for supervisors to apply K-State employment policies and the University Handbook.

As a result of this session, participants will:

  • Demonstrate understanding of K-State employment policies and the University Handbook.
  • Locate K-State employment policies when needed.
  • Utilize K-State employment policies equitably across all employee types in various situations.
  • Establish swim lanes — what situations can supervisors handle and what needs to be passed on to Human Capital Services.

You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session.  The session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program, therefore, seating is limited.

To register for this session, complete the registration form.
