Growing our Mindset Diversity Forum

Mark your calendars and join the Kansas State University College of Agriculture for the 12th Growing our Mindset Diversity Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The event will take place from 4:30-6 p.m. in Town Hall, 114 Staley School of Leadership, or via Zoom ID 975 1489 8690.

This semester’s forum will feature Lauren Brewer, graduate of the grain science department at K-State with a master's degree in grain science and a doctorate in cereal chemistry. Brewer is a former K-State Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences, or MANRRS, officerCurrently, Brewer is a member of the College of Agriculture Dean’s Advisory Board and serves as the manager of research and development at General Mills, Inc. Join us as Dr. Brewer leads a conversation about accelerating diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.

The student groups who will lead the event are K-State MANRRS, College of Agriculture Ambassadors and Agriculture Student Council in partnership with the College of Agriculture/KSRE Diversity Programs Office and the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies. The event promises to be engaging and impactful, yet it can only be great with your participation.
