K-State Libraries seeks candidates for interim associate dean for research and education
K-State Libraries is seeking internal candidates for the position of interim associate dean for research and education.
This is a full-time, tenured academic administrative position carrying full faculty status. The interim associate dean's responsibilities include providing vision and leadership, supporting the research and teaching missions of the university, and designing innovative programs and services.
Reporting to the dean of Libraries, this position will provide strategic direction and leadership for the academic services department and the Richard L. D. and Marjorie J. Morse Department of Special Collections. This is done through shared decision-making for librarywide planning, budget allocation, resource management, organizational effectiveness, and program and policy development. This position also supports staff engaged in research and education, and it actively contributes to shaping and advancing library initiatives through participation on the Libraries administrative team and Strategic Leadership Council.
