Summer Undergraduate Research Showcase happening this week

Undergraduate students participating in summer research programs in departments and units across campus will present their work during the Summer Undergraduate Research Showcase. The K-State community is invited to attend the showcase and show support for these students.
Oral presentations for a subset of research programs will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 25, in the Wildcat Chamber in the K-State Student Union.
Poster presentations will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27, in the Bluemont Room in the K-State Student Union
Participating summer programs include the Bridges to the Future group, Chemistry Research Experiences for Undergraduates, Chapman Center for Rural Studies, KSRE Research Fellows, Research Immersion: Pathways to STEM, or KS-LSAMP, SUMaR at K-State, and Plant Health Research and Extension Experiences for Undergraduates programs led by the plant pathology department with additional mentors in biology, biochemistry, agronomy and entomology.
The showcase is hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry. The office supports and celebrates undergraduate student researchers through a variety of programs, opportunities and public forums to engage the K-State community.
