Camilla Roberts publishes book chapter on academic integrity and student development
Camilla Roberts, director of the Honor and Integrity System, published a book chapter in Springer's second edition of "The Handbook of Academic Integrity."
Roberts' chapter, "Challenges and Benefits of an Academic Integrity Office: Sustaining an Academic Integrity Culture focused on Student Development," explores the challenges and shifts of academic integrity since the pandemic and the lessons learned so that institutions can focus on the education and support of their students at a developmental level to enhance both academic integrity and the individual's integrity.
Edited by Sarah Elaine Eaton, this second edition is a significant update from the 2016 first edition edited by Tracey Bretag. The expansive second edition brings to light the educational and technological changes of the past decade and their correlation with academic integrity.
"This handbook serves as the single authoritative reference work which brings together the vast, growing, interdisciplinary and at times contradictory body of literature," Eaton said.
