Assistant vice president of planning, design and construction candidate open forum
Brian Newman, senior campus planner for Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, will present an open forum from 10-11 a.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 17, in the Big 12 Room in the K-State Student Union.
Newman is a licensed architect as well as a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED-accredited professional with a specialty in building design and construction.
K-State faculty and staff are invited to attend the open forum, followed by a Q&A session, in which Newman will present his response to the prompt:
"Under your leadership, how will the department of planning, design and construction support and/or respond to the Next-Gen K-State strategic plan? In addition, please discuss any elements that the plan may not cover."
For those unable to attend in person, this event will be live-streamed via Zoom webinar. Newman's application materials as well as information regarding access to the open forum and a feedback survey are currently available on K-State’s Division of Facilities search website.
