Pre-Professional Advising Center invites campus community to Constitution Day

Join the Pre-Professional Advising Center for an opportunity to observe the Kansas Court of Appeals judges hearing pending appellate cases on campus from 9:30-11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, in the K-State Student Union's Forum Hall.
Attorneys will present oral arguments before judges David E. Bruns, Rachel Pickering and Timothy Lahey. The three cases to be heard include:
- 9:30 a.m. Board of County Commissioners of Riley County, Kansas, v. Gary L. Kilner, Case No. 22-125756-A.
- 10:15 a.m. Employers Mutual Casualty Company as Subrogee of Custom Wood Products, Inc., v. Jayhawk Fire Sprinkler Company, Inc., Case No. 21-124001-A.
- 11 a.m. In the Interest of J.W., A Minor Child, Case No. 125935.
Everyone is welcome to stop by to hear any or all cases. This event is free and open to the public; no RSVP or preparation is required.
