The application for the Student-Centered Tuition Enhancements Fund for fiscal year 2025 is open now. The form will close at 4 p.m. on Dec. 15. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
Apply online: SCTE proposal.
Student-Centered Tuition Enhancement was created in 2004 by the K-State administration as a way to create visible and positive change for the university. This money feeds directly from students' tuition dollars and funds projects, programs and services. All departments and units of the university are eligible to apply.
Funding process:
-
Proposals may be submitted to the committee to request seed money for the creation and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
-
Proposals may request funding for up to four years. Every project receiving funding must submit a proposal each year funding was requested. No Student-Centered Tuition Enhancements project may receive funding for more than four years.
Preference shall be given to applications using the following criteria:
-
Programs that have definite, predictable outcomes.
-
Programs that affect a large number of students.
-
Programs that have limited or no other sources of funding.
-
Programs that provide significant enhancements to students' experience.
The Tuition Enhancements Committee will consider proposals throughout the spring semester. Student-Centered Tuition Enhancement applicants have the opportunity to present to the committee. If you received funding in fiscal year 2023, submit your final report online: FY23 final report. Without submitting this report by 4 p.m. on Dec. 15, you will not be eligible for future funding.
