Reminder: Women in Business summit breakout session proposals due Sept. 29
Faculty, staff, community members and corporate partners are invited to submit breakout session proposals for the third annual K-State Women in Business Career Summit.
This year's summit will be held on Monday, Nov. 13, at the K-State Student Union and the College of Business Administration. Kristine Davis, K-State alumna and spacesuit engineer at NASA, and Jeanette Hernandez Prenger, CEO and founder of ECCO Select, will be featured as keynote speakers. In addition, the event will offer breakout sessions and networking opportunities for high school students, college students and working professionals.
We seek engaging sessions, 40-50 minutes in length, that focus on college or career development topics for high school students, K-State students and early-career professional women.
The annual career summit exists to recruit high school students to K-State and to prepare university students and young professionals for their future careers. The Women in Business Initiative works to educate, empower and engage future and current business leaders, to create social and economic impact and enhance societal prosperity.
Submit a proposal online by Friday, Sept. 29, for best consideration.
