College of Business Administration hosts financial wellness and literacy workshop series
The Kansas State University Financial Literacy Initiative announces a new series of financial wellness workshops designed to empower and educate students, faculty and staff on essential financial topics. The first workshop, Budget and Spending Management, is today, Oct. 16, at your choice of 2:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m., hosted in Room 1088 of the Business Building. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to enhance financial literacy and well-being.
The series will consist of two additional sessions, each focusing on a critical aspect of financial health:
- Money Management — Debt, Credit Health, and Risk, at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.
- Your Financial Future — Investing and Retirement at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 30.
These workshops will be led by Stacey Lhullier, instructor in the College of Business Administration, and Blake Gray, assistant professor of personal financial planning. Both are financial experts and advisors who will share practical insights and strategies for managing personal finances effectively. Participants will gain valuable knowledge to make informed decisions, set financial goals and secure their financial futures.
We invite all members of the Kansas State University community to attend these workshops. Whether you're a student just starting your financial journey, a faculty member looking to enhance your financial prowess, or a staff member planning for retirement, these sessions offer something for everyone.
