Geography colloquium Nov. 3 examines social barriers and prescribed burning in the southern Great Plains
Urs P. Kreuter, professor of ecology and conservation biology at Texas A&M University, will present "Woody Plants and Fire in the Southern Great Plains of the USA: Social Barriers and Opportunities for Using Prescribed Fire" at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in 114 Burt Hall.
Kreuter's talk is part of the geography and geospatial science department's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the geography and geospatial sciences department.
