New Faculty Institute to host Conversation, Coffee and Pastries
The New Faculty Institute will host a special opportunity to meet our partners in the Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs, or DASSA, from 8:30-10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in the Bluemont Room of the K-State Student Union.
The partnership between faculty and DASSA is an essential component of the K-State culture that supports a vibrant and engaged academic community.
Drop by for coffee, pastries and conversation with Thomas Lane, vice president for academic success and student affairs and dean of students, and team members from community building, student well-being, student belonging and inclusion, academic and career engagement, and student support and accountability.
This is a come-and-go event. Come by when you can and stay as long as you'd like.
RSVP online by noon Thursday, Nov. 2.
The New Faculty Institute is a program hosted by the Teaching and Learning Center for new faculty in their first three years at K-State. The New Faculty Institute provides networking and professional development opportunities to assist new faculty in becoming successful educators and researchers at Kansas State University.
