Kansas 4-H to host Discovery Days planning session
Kansas 4-H and Kansas State University have worked together for more than 100 years to offer a yearly event for 4-H youth.
Discovery Days, previously known as Round Up, has been bringing more than 250 youth to campus to learn about program areas, develop college and career readiness skills, and enhance their personal growth in life skills.
K-State departments are needed to bolster the offering of experiences for our youth. Kansas 4-H will host a short Zoom meeting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 28 to discuss class session opportunities. Please email dsratlif@k-state.edu if you are interested in being a part of the event for 2024.
The Discovery Days event will happen on campus from June 5-7, 2024. Sessions will be offered on Wednesday afternoon and throughout the day on Thursday. Those sessions can range in time length from 1.25 hours to 3 hours. The youth will range in age from 13 to 18 years old, and many are future Wildcats. Help show all the opportunities K-State can offer them.
