Rob Nixon, University Printing director, to retire
After more than 37 years of service with Kansas State University, Rob Nixon, director of University Printing, will retire at the first of the year.
A reception in Nixon's honor will take place from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in 311 Umberger Hall. Please join us in wishing Nixon a well-deserved retirement. Cards and congratulations may be sent to Nixon at 1612 Claflin Road, 301 Umberger Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506.
Nixon began his career at K-State as a student employee in the Extension Duplicating Center in the early '80s and started full time with Continuing Education in 1986 as an office specialist. In 1994, he returned to the Extension Duplicating Center working as a pressman until becoming the assistant director of University Printing in 2011 when the former Printing Services merged with the Extension Duplicating Center. He has served as the director of University Printing since 2015.
