Engineering Extension promotes Arthur Fink to assistant director of Pollution Prevention Program
Arthur Fink, pollution prevention specialist with Engineering Extension's Pollution Prevention Institute, was promoted to assistant director of the institute.
Previously an engineering associate III with both the Kansas Department of Health and Environment Bureau of Waste Management and Bureau of Water, Fink has been with Engineering Extension since October 2017.
Nancy Larson, current director of the Pollution Prevention Institute, will retire in January 2025. Larson suggested the assistant director position as a means to bridge the final stages of her phased retirement and to ensure the continuity of the success the institute has seen during her leadership.
As assistant director, Fink will work with Larson in the areas of grant management, preparing new grant proposals and working on specific projects as a pollution prevention specialist.
