'Something to Chew On' podcast features Kansas Water Institute director Susan Metzger
The Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab's podcast, "Something to Chew On," returns with its latest episode, "Tackling complex water resource challenges through collaboration and community engagement." This episode features guest Susan Metzger of the Kansas Water Institute, along with hosts Maureen Olewnik, Jim Stack and Brian McCornack.
Metzger stresses the imperative need for innovative research endeavors, advancements in agricultural technology and collaborative partnerships across academic, governmental and community sectors to navigate the challenges of water scarcity and sustainability.
"Something to Chew On" explores the complexity and nuances of food systems and debates the best ways for humans to proceed forward. There are more than 50 episodes with listeners in more than 80 countries. Listeners can subscribe and download new episodes to hear what researchers in the wide scope of food research are doing at K-State.
The Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab offers access to cutting-edge technologies and programming in a collaborative environment. The lab receives support from K-State's Student Governing Association and is a partnership between K-State Libraries and the Division of Information Technology.
