NRES students seek survey participants for research project on campus green spaces
A multidisciplinary undergraduate team in the NRES secondary major capstone course seeks survey participants as part of their semester-long research project about campus green spaces. Undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff at Kansas State University are eligible to participate in this 5-minute survey.
The project seeks to understand the relationship between perception of campus green spaces and volunteer efforts that support them. Responses will help the team address the following objectives:
- Understand perceived benefits of green spaces on campus by K-State members.
- Understand literacy/awareness of benefits of green spaces by K-State members.
- Understand how perceptions and knowledge of green spaces impact likelihood of volunteerism.
Take the survey online or scan the QR code.
The team will present their findings from 9:30-11:20 a.m. on Monday, May 6, in Room of 41 Waters Hall. The public is invited to attend.
The approved IRB number for this project is IRB-12119.
