K-State Choirs to host 450 potential students for Heartland Choral Festival
Submitted by Corbin Montenegro
The Kansas State University Choirs will host the Heartland Choral Festival on April 4, set to be the largest recruitment event in the history of K-State Choirs. The festival will gather 450 high schoolers from three states for a musical extravaganza like no other.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to showcase their talents through performances in St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center, collaborate with four internationally-renowned clinicians, engage in enriching masterclasses with K-State faculty and witness performances by the K-State Concert Choir and In-A-Chord A Cappella, both featuring internationally renowned recording artist Curtis Gulledge, Sr.
The event promises a harmonious celebration of talent, dedication and musical excellence, serving as a platform for aspiring young vocalists to hone their skills and interact with experts in choral music.
