Pickering receives International Studies Association Distinguished Scholar Award

Jeff Pickering, professor of political science, received the International Studies Association's Foreign Policy Analysis Distinguished Scholar Award at the association's annual meeting April 5 in San Francisco.
With more than 8,000 members across 120 countries, the International Studies Association is "the largest, most respected, and most widely known scholarly association promoting research and education in international studies."
A panel held in Pickering's honor at the conference featured scholars from the University of Southern California, Indiana University, the University of Iowa, the University of Edinburgh, Texas Christian University, the University of Buffalo, Colgate University, and the U.S. Army's School of Advanced Military Studies.
Pickering also recently presented an invited lecture at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on March 19.
