AI Symposium call for posters: Share with your grad students
Doctoral students working in the field of artificial intelligence are invited to showcase their cutting-edge research at the upcoming K-State AI Symposium Oct. 15-17 at Hale Library and Manhattan Public Library.
The symposium is a collaborative effort between the K-State department of modern languages, K-State Libraries, the Center of AI and Data Science and the Manhattan Public Library; this event promises to be an enlightening platform for exploring the intersection of AI and humanities, sharing knowledge, insights and advancements in the realm of AI.
The K-State AI Symposium connects artificial intelligence with the humanities. It aims to discuss AI's impact on society and culture. People in AI, including students, can share their work and talk with experts. The event will feature panel discussions, poster sessions showcasing AI, hands-on workshops using AI generative tools, and community conversations with humanities and AI experts.
Call for posters: Researchers and scholars currently engaged in research related to artificial intelligence are invited to submit abstracts and participate in the poster session during the K-State AI Symposium. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: Machine learning and deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision and pattern recognition, robotics and autonomous systems, AI ethics and fairness, explainable AI and interpretability, AI for health care and biomedicine, AI for social good and sustainability, reinforcement learning, AI in gaming and entertainment, AI in cybersecurity and privacy, and AI in agriculture.
To be considered for the poster presentation session, please submit an abstract of your research. The abstract should be no more than 250 words and should include a title, author(s) name(s), and affiliation(s). Clearly state your research's purpose, methods, results and conclusions, if any. The submission portal can be accessed through the Google Form.
Important dates:
- Sept. 9: Deadline for submissions.
- Sept. 16: Acceptance notification.
