Pickering to perform noontime organ recital
Submitted by the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance
David Pickering, professor of music, will perform a free, 30-minute noontime organ recital from 12:15-12:45 p.m. Friday, July 19, on the Austin organ in All Faiths Chapel. He will perform music by J.S. Bach, Cesar Franck, Daniel E. Gawthrop and two of his own arrangements.
Active recitalist, recording artist, scholar and author, Pickering is also associate director of music in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. His career as a performer has carried him across the United States as well as to Austria, Canada, England, Finland and Germany. Learn more.
