All welcome to attend 3-Minute Pitch event July 23
Submitted by Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research
This summer, the Manhattan campus has been buzzing with dozens of undergraduate researchers participating in Research Experiences for Undergraduates, or REUs, and other grants or programming. These researchers represent K-State students, students from other institutions in the state and students from all over the country.
The university community is invited to celebrate this summer's findings at the 3-Minute Pitch event at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, in Town Hall and Room 127 of the Leadership Studies Building. The event is hosted by Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research, with refreshments provided by the ARISE REU.
The event will kick off at 2 p.m. in Town Hall, where attendees will hear from roughly 10 students as they offer a Three-Minute Thesis-style oral presentation. Around 3 p.m., the group will move to Room 127 to enjoy refreshments and poster presentations. At 3:45 p.m., oral presentations will resume in Town Hall, with a goal of wrapping up by 4:30-5.
We hope you'll join us for some or all of the fun.
