Margaret Wertheim to present 'Making Space' lecture today
Margaret Wertheim, acclaimed science writer, artist and curator, will discuss the history of Western understanding of space from Dante to the Internet and ways in which these concepts may be realized in physical form. The lecture will start at 7 p.m. today in 109 Justin Hall.
The lecture is presented in collaboration with the K-State Libraries, the department of physics and the department of art in support of the "Museum of Wonder" exhibition. It also is sponsored in part by the Richard Coleman Beach Museum of Art Lecture Series fund.
Selected publications by Wertheim will be available for purchase and signing after her presentation.
