Updated search committee member and chair trainings
Human Resources has updated two important online courses for those who serve as search committee members or search committee chairs. The courses are available anytime on the Human Resources website and it is expected that those serving as search committee members or chairs will complete the course at least once each academic year.
The Search Committee Roles and Responsibilities training session provides guidelines and best practices for participating in a search committee. The course covers topics including implicit bias, confidentiality, conflicts of interest and K-State's Principles of Community.
The Search Chair Roles and Responsibilities training session provides guidance for search committee chairs in understanding their role throughout the search process at Kansas State University. This session sets expectations and provides resources to those serving as a search committee chair.
Learn more about each online course and complete them by visiting the Talent and Organizational Development website. For specific questions regarding these courses, please contact the Talent Acquisition team at 785-532-6255 or kstatecareers@k-state.edu.
