Deaf Utopia by Nyle DiMarco

The K-State First Book program, KSFB, reminds the K-State community that there are three award opportunities available: two for students and one for faculty/staff. Applications are due by Friday, Dec. 13.

KSFB invites students to share their experience of Nyle DiMarco’s “Deaf Utopia.” All students are eligible to apply for a Bill Miller and Debbie Leckron Miller K-State First Book Individual Scholarship Award for $1,000 and Student Group Award of $250. Further details and submission guidelines are available at the K-State First Awards page.

KSFB also invites submissions from faculty or staff members who have created learning activities related “Deaf Utopia.” Further details and submission guidelines are available at the K-State First Awards page

The winners of all three awards will be honored publicly in spring 2025
