Brandon Savage

Brandon Savage, advanced instructor in the management department in the College of Business Administration, was recognized as Professor of the Week at the Jan. 30 women's home basketball game.

Savage has taught courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Logistics/Warehouse Management, Project Management, Business Ethics/Strategy and Business Presentation Skills. Recognized for his innovative approach to teaching and classroom engagement, Savage has received multiple awards, including the 2024 Commerce Bank and W.T. Kemper Foundation Undergraduate Outstanding Teaching Award and the 2023 Outstanding Faculty Award from the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society.

Savage holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Cheryl, have eight children and three cats, and they love Manhattan and being part of the Wildcat family.

The Professor of the Week recognition is coordinated by Faculty Senate, the Office of the President and K-State Athletics. Recipients are faculty members selected by Faculty Senate caucuses. Those selected are provided tickets to a men's or women's home basketball game of their choosing and are recognized during halftime. This is just a small token of appreciation for those who teach at K-State.
