Students are focus for March Water Wednesday
The Kansas Water Institute invites K-State students, faculty and staff to attend a Water Wednesday luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 12 in Room 181 of Hale Library.
This month's networking event will focus on student research, engagement and workforce development. Students with an interest in water-related studies are encouraged to attend, regardless of major or college affiliation.
"The next generation of water scientists and policy makers are here at K-State," said Susan Metzger, director of the Kansas Water Institute. "Many of our students are already studying key issues that affect Kansas water resources, and this is an opportunity for our K-State community to explore how to successfully engage more students in this work."
Interested individuals are invited to RSVP online, as space is limited to the first 60 registrants. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
The Kansas Water Institute hosts Water Wednesday events each month, aiming to facilitate meaningful exchanges and showcase impactful research. The full Water Wednesday schedule is available on the Kansas Water Institute website. To request additional information, contact water@k-state.edu.
