Blue Key Senior Honorary presents Catalyst 2014
Blue Key Senior Honorary is now accepting applications for Catalyst for the spring 2014 semester.
Apply today. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Nov. 15.
Catalyst is a self-development experience unlike any other. This semesterlong program covers various topics, including goal-setting, relationships, motivation, time management and many others. In contrast to a standard classroom setting, Catalyst members will receive small group, personalized guidance in their development process. Catalyst is focused on reaching freshmen and sophomore K-Staters who have a passion for bettering themselves in order to better the world around them.
Members will learn about the importance of personal growth through the discussion of readings such as "Habitudes" by Dr. Tim Elmore; "The Other 90%" by Robert Cooper, and self-development staple "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. Small groups will meet weekly in the spring to discuss these readings and relevant topics. One large group session will be conducted each month where participants will hear from campus leaders and passionate K-Staters, and celebrate all they have accomplished through the program.
Members of Blue Key, the senior honorary, will facilitate both small and large group meetings, as well as featuring other leaders around campus for keynote messages during large group meetings.
Blue Key members and Catalyst co-coordinators Erin Clopine and Annika Schneider are excited to be part of this journey of self-development with you. If you would like to learn more about Catalyst, contact Clopine ateclopine@k-state.edu or Schneider at annika14@k-state.edu.
