Women's basketball team looking to 'Pack the House' Feb. 4 with dollar tickets
Kansas State women’s basketball fans can purchase tickets and concession items for just $1 during “Pack the House” night when the Wildcats open the second half of the Big 12 schedule against defending league champion and No. 1 ranked Baylor on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.
As part of the NCAA’s “Pack the House” initiative, K-State is offering all tickets for just $1, which includes all available seating in the chairbacks, reserved bench and general admission seating areas of Bramlage Coliseum. To purchase tickets, please contact the K-State athletic ticket office at 1-800-221-CATS or visit www.kstatesports.com.
In addition, designated concession items will be sold for just $1, including: nachos, pretzels, popcorn and select candy, which will be available at all of the main concession stands on the Bramlage concourse.
The women’s game against Baylor follows the men’s contest against Texas A&M, which tips off at 3 p.m. Due to the quick turnaround between the two games, parking for the women’s game will be free and the lots at the KSU Sports Complex will open at approximately 6 p.m., once exiting traffic from the men’s game has cleared. Doors to Bramlage Coliseum open at 6 p.m. Fans holding tickets to both games will be asked to leave the arena after the men’s game and re-enter with their ticket for the women’s game.
At halftime of the women’s game, fans will be entertained by the Zooperstars!, a traveling halftime inflatable mascot act performing more than 200 shows a year that will rock the house with routines that fans of all ages will love. Fans can visit www.zooperstars.com for more information.
Kansas State will be looking to defend its Big 12 title in the NCAA “Pack the House” initiative, as the Wildcats captured the 2011 crown. K-State hosted 9,024 fans on Jan. 9, 2011, against Oklahoma State, a 63-45 win over the Cowgirls in the Big 12 home opener for the Wildcats.
