Adult men, 60 and older, needed in kinesiology research study
The kinesiology department is looking for participants for an ongoing research study investigating how breathing muscle fatigue influences heart rate, blood pressure and blood flow across the lifespan. For this study, all measurements are performed at rest — no exercise — and are noninvasive. We are in need of healthy — no acute or chronic illnesses — older adult men 60 years and older.
Benefits:
- Lung function measurements will be available to you.
- Participation and contribution to K-State research.
Requirements:
- A total of three visits to the laboratory for approximately an hour over a span of two to three weeks. We will schedule visits when is most convenient for the participants.
Contact Josh Smith at smith424@k-state.edu if you are interested in participating.
This research has been approved by the K-State University Institutional Review Board with the project numbers of 7792 and 7646.
