K-State United Way: Your help is vital to supported programs
Submitted by K-State United Way Campaign Committee
As we head into the fall break and reflect upon what we are thankful for in our lives, please take a moment to think about those who are depending upon the help of the United Way.
Locally we have nearly 16,000 people living in poverty, one in three children living in a low-income family, and 15 percent of people are uninsured. Your contribution, no matter the size, matters to those helped by programs supported by United Way.
Ninety-nine cents of every dollar stays local. Please help your community through your local United Way today. Visit K-State United Way or give through Employee Self Service/HRIS.
The K-State United Way campaign has 405 K-State employees who have pledged $76.616.10. We need your help to reach our goal of $100,000.
We all collectively can make a difference for the people in our own communities when we join our dollars in support of United Way. Live United and donate today.
