K-State MLK Week: Beach museum offers video keynote by Julian Bond, discussion on two African-American artists
Watch video of a unique 15-minute keynote address by civil and human rights leader Julian Bond, delivered at the 2011 Indianapolis Museum of Art symposium "Hard Truths: A Forum on Art and the Politics of Difference," a gathering in conjunction with the exhibition "Hard Truths: The Art of Thornton Dial." Leaders from K-State's Black Student Union will comment and lead the audience discussion.
The event takes place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art's UMB Theater.
