Zakrajsek to speak to faculty and students about learning in harmony with the brain
Todd Zakrajsek, director of the Teaching and Learning Center at the University of North Carolina Medical School, will be at K-State Monday, March 6, to share his research on teaching and learning in two sessions: one for faculty and graduate students and one for undergraduate students.
Zakrajsek will meet with faculty and graduate students at 2:30 p.m. in the Executive Conference Room of the College of Business Administration building. Zakrajsek will present "Rethinking Current Educational Trends, Balancing Faculty Expertise, Innovative Pedagogy, and Student Learning." Faculty and graduate students can register online.
Zakrajsek will talk with undergraduate students about "The New Science of Learning: How to Learn in Harmony with Your Brain" at 5 p.m. March 6 in Room 1092 of the College of Business Administration building. Students can register online.
Faculty, please come at 2:30 p.m. and encourage your students to come at 5 p.m. to hear Zakrajsek. He has an amazing ability to teach others about teaching and learning.
