Total compensation summary for 2016

Submitted by Human Capital Services

The 2016 total compensation summary is now available for all benefit-eligible employees and may be accessed through Employee Self Service or HRIS.

This summary allows employees to view their direct and indirect compensation based on information from HRIS.

Direct compensation is pay received for hours worked, holidays, leave, etc. Indirect compensation is contributions by the university on behalf of the employee for insurance, retirement and employer required taxes.

The total compensation summary includes wages paid in 2016 — paychecks issued Jan. 15 to Dec. 30, 2016. The summary does not replace W-2 forms or other income tax related information and is not intended for use in tax preparation. See total compensation summary listed under benefits for more information.
