Casebeer receives regional teaching award
Shannon Casebeer, assistant professor of architectural engineering and construction science, received one of two regional teaching awards voted on and awarded by the 18-member institutions at the Associated Schools of Construction Region 4 2017 annual meeting.
The award is made annually to non-tenured or tenure-track faculty, with two to six years of teaching experience, at an association-member school. It recognizes a faculty member's contribution to construction education, excellence in teaching, service to the Associated Schools of Construction and dedication to the construction profession.
Casebeer also was chosen as the Region 4 nominee to advance for consideration for the Associated Schools of Construction National Excellence in Teaching Award to be selected at the annual meeting April 18-21, 2018, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
