Tonight: An evening with Tendai Gadzikwa, assistant professor of chemistry
Join the K-State Student Affiliate of the American Chemical Society at 6 p.m. March 27 in 209 King Hall to learn about the educational and professional journey of Tendai Gadzikwa, assistant professor of chemistry. Refreshments will be provided.
Gadzikwa received her doctorate at Northwestern University and performed postdoctoral research at the University of Amsterdam. Following this, she was a senior lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe and visting researcher at the University of Alberta.
Join us to gain insight on Gadzikwa's decision-making process and how it guided her educational and professional journey. Gadzikwa will share her experiences and time will be allowed for Q&A. This event is coordinated with the purpose of increasing communication between students and faculty members to aid undergraduate and graduate students' understanding of education routes and career pathways in research.
All students are invited to attend regardless of department affiliation. Students considering careers in research are especially encouraged to attend.
